- I was ticketed for parking in a handicap spot on my street on Charter a couple years ago, and fought it successfully, and it was dismissed. One of the signs for the handicap spot, had been removed or knocked down, and I thought my neighbor, who had been calling for it to be removed as a handicap designation had finally succeeded in that effort.
