Description
Dear Sir or Madam, I am writing to formally report ongoing and escalating public safety and parking violations in the South End, specifically on San Juan Street and West Brookline Street. Individuals are illegally claiming public on-street parking spaces by placing cones, ropes, trash items, and garbage bins to block spots that are owned and regulated by the City of Boston, not by individual residents. These obstructions were placed days ago and remain unattended. According to the City of Boston Traffic Rules and Parking Regulations, on-street parking spaces are public property, and placing objects in the public right-of-way to reserve parking without an official City permit is not authorized. Only vehicles displaying valid Resident Parking Permits issued by the City may legally park in resident-restricted areas during posted hours. Private reservation of public spaces is not permitted under City policy. More concernin<truncated>
