Description
REQUESTING IMMEDIATE INSPECTION BY BOSTON ISD. RE: Follow-Up to Case #101006487101 (submitted Feb 1, 2026, 4:55 PM). Ice accumulation obstructing means of egress from residence to public way. Violation of State Sanitary Code (105 CMR 410.260(D)(2)(a)). This is a 410.630(A)(8) condition (egress obstruction). Ice conditions also obstructing refuse collection; violation of 410.570(D), which explicitly applies to private passageways. Under 410.600(C)(1), inspection was required within one business day. That deadline has passed. Under 410.600(A), this complaint cannot be dismissed without inspection; board of health shall inspect upon request from an occupant. Private way status does not exempt this location. 410.570(D) covers private passageways. 410.010 defines "Means of Egress" as a path to public way; the entire route is regulated. In no uncertain terms: this is my final good-faith attempt to resolve this concern with 311. If inspection is not conducted within 1 business day of receipt, I will file a petition for hearing under 105 CMR 410.800(B)(1) and a complaint with the MA Department of Public Health (DPH).
