- I live on Ransom Rd in Brighton. There is an assisted living facility that utilizes van services multiple times per day to transport its residents. They have not shoveled out the handicapped/reserved parking area in front of their building and as a result there are constantly vans stopping in the middle of street for extended periods with no way for cars to get around. Multiple times this week cars have had to reverse all the way back out of my one way street due to vans parked in the middle of the road. Here is an example photo from this afternoon. It would be great for these vans to utilize the designated area to pull over so as to not block off the whole street and lead to so much honking when cars get stuck behind so I believe they should shovel out this area.
