- The streets of South Boston are still a mess with snow. Two weeks past the storm, why can't the City contractors clearing the street corner handicap ramp/crosswalk area just haul the snow away as they pick it up. They moved the corner crosswalk snow and dumped it in piles next to the crosswalk, creating 7' piles of snow that neither pedestrians or drivers can see past. Blocking a badly needed parking spot in the process....this example just happens to be H/7th street. Why are residential owners being fined for snow clearing while two weeks in the City still doesn't have the streets cleaned?
