- Subject: Urgent: ADA Accessibility Violation – Snow Obstructing Accessible Parking (North End) I am a disabled resident of the North End writing to formally report that two designated handicap-accessible parking spaces remain completely obstructed by snow piles, nearly 3 weeks after the storm. The affected locations are: • 186 Endicott Street • 92 North Margin Street Despite multiple calls and prior reports, these spaces have not been cleared. Under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and applicable city accessibility requirements, designated accessible parking spaces must be maintained in a usable condition. Allowing snow to block these spaces effectively denies access to disabled residents. Accessible parking is not optional - it is essential infrastructure. In a neighborhood with extremely limited parking, the loss of these spaces has a direct and harmful impact. I am requesting immediate removal of the snow obstructing these designated accessible spaces and written confirmation once the issue has been resolved. Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter.
