- The City of Boston advertises $10/day parking at the Metropolis Technologies owned Center Parking Garage in South Boston, MA for snow emergencies. A snow emergency started at 2pm on Feb. 22nd. I drove into the garage at 3:09pm on Feb. 22nd and drove out at 2:04pm on Feb 24th. This was less than 48 hours or 2 days and the snow emergency was to lift at 6pm on Feb. 24th. A person had 2 hours after the snow emergency lifts, but I got my car out before the 48 hour mark. My charge should have been $20 plus service fees and I was charged $31. The company only offers chat and the chat said they could not refund me “because the charge matches the parking duration.” This was not the advertised rate and is wrong.
