- Michelle wu, help us! The MBTA’s orange closure and subsequent line shuttle is a nightmare. It took me nearly 2 hours to get from Forest Hill’s to Back Bay station. One would think, if a mass transit system was planning an interruption in normal commuter service in a snow-prone city, the planners would have coordinated with th Department of a public Works and the BPD to ensure the snow pinning the narrow streets would have been cleared and police traffic details posted at major intersections. Who pays these people? Complete incompetence! Please call the MBTA director and give them an earful!
