- The city must take responsibility for clearing and salting the snow; that’s what our taxes are meant for. It’s unacceptable that elderly individuals, people with disabilities, and children are unable to safely navigate the sidewalks. Instead, they are forced to walk on busy streets, putting their lives at risk. This negligence is a serious safety issue that needs immediate attention.
