Description
Hello, how are you? I am a resident at the 1330 Boylston Street apartment building. My apartment is located at the rear of the building. There is a “thoroughfare/passageway” located at the rear of the building, to allow garbage trucks access to the dumpsters and delivery trucks access to the loading dock, located at the rear of the building. With the increase of Uber and Lyft services, and use of GPS, other vehicles also use the “thoroughfare/passageway”. The excessive use of the “thoroughfare/passageway”, has resulted in a worn out metal grate, located in the “thoroughfare/passageway”( please see attached photos). When vehicles drive over the metal grate, a loud annoying and a disturbing sound follows. During baseball games and concerts performed at Fenway Park, vehicles drive down the “thoroughfare/passageway”, past midnight. There is a minimum of 75 cars driving through on the evening of a baseball game and a concert. The continuous disturbing sound is unbearable. During the 13 years that I have resided at 1330 Boylston Street, I have never seen anyone open the metal grate. Is it possible to remove the metal grate, or repave the asphalt, surrounding the metal grate? Thank you for your attention to this matter. Please feel free to phone me at 617-699-2303, if you have any questions. Thank you. ~ Renée
