Description: Same thing I already put a report in for 8 days ago. Trying to file it under general since there are only potholes or broken sidewalks for road options. The manhole in the street is a city manhole (not eversource) and is very loose. The cover is loose as well as the frame that the cover sits on. It’s breaking apart from the road around it and is becoming a noise nuisance for the houses around it. Everytime a car hits it, it makes a huge CACKLUNK noise, all day and all night. Ashmont st is not a quiet street, so a lot of times it’s rapid fire for the sound when there’s lots of traffic. Beyond the noise nuisance, it seems to be a safety issue.
