- Some residents on Brahms Street in Roslindale use trash cans and various objects to save parking spots. Others go so far as to take up two spaces at a time to hold a spot for someone else; if you move their cone, they’ll key your car or slash your tires. This is a daily problem, and as a result, some neighbors are forced to park far away—all because certain residents—who actually have private driveways—monopolize all the street parking in front of their homes, acting as if the street belongs to them.
