To Whom It May Concern, I am writing to formally report ongoing and severe sanitary violations at the following property: 12 Mulvey Street Mattapan, MA 02126 Since approximately 2018, the occupants of this property have consistently engaged in the improper disposal of waste, including food, plastics, and other debris. These materials are frequently dumped in a manner that violates basic sanitation standards and creates hazardous living conditions for surrounding residents. As a direct result of these actions, there has been a significant and persistent increase in rodent and wildlife activity, including rats and raccoons. These conditions are not only unsanitary but have also created an unsafe and dangerous environment for both children and adults in the area. This situation appears to be in violation of several Boston municipal codes and public health regulations, including but not limited to: * Improper storage and disposal of solid waste * Failure to maintain property in a clean and sanitary condition * Conditions that promote infestation or harboring of rodents and pests The presence of these conditions has led to a substantial and unfair financial burden on nearby residents, including myself, due to the increased need for pest control services. Despite colder weather conditions, which would typically reduce such activity, there are already alarming levels of rodent and animal presence. Multiple tenants in the area have also reported high and increasing levels of activity. This issue has persisted for years without permanent resolution and requires immediate attention. The continued neglect of proper sanitation standards poses a serious public health risk and diminishes the safety and quality of life for the surrounding community. I respectfully request that this matter be investigated promptly and that appropriate enforcement actions be taken to bring the property into compliance with all applicable health and safety regulations.
