Description
I am requesting a reinspection due to an ongoing cockroach infestation in my apartment and in the building’s common areas. This complaint is a continuation of a previously inspected condition under case HVTOL-895628. During that prior inspection, an ISD inspector, Cassandra Golding, observed live cockroaches in both my unit and the recycling/common area and issued a State Sanitary Code violation. However, the case was closed within approximately two days without any follow-up inspection and without confirming that remediation had been completed. The infestation remains active. I continue to observe cockroach activity in my unit, including multiple recently observed cockroaches. In addition, I recently observed a rodent in the common hallway that entered another residential unit, indicating pest activity beyond a single apartment. Based on cockroach activity in both my unit and common areas, and the presence of rodents in the hallway, this appears to be a building-wide issue rather than an isolated condition. I am requesting a new inspection of: my apartment, and relevant common areas, including hallways and recycling/trash areas. I am also requesting clarification as to why the prior violation under case HVTOL-895628 was closed so quickly without follow-up inspection or confirmation of remediation. If possible, I request that the inspector note in their report that: the conditions are ongoing, and the observed pest activity indicates a broader, building-wide infestation. | Move in date: [10/15/2024] Owner's name and contact info: [Heath Properties] Occupants name and contact info: [Zack Coblens zjcoblens03@icloud.com 617-971-8972] Type of insect or rodent: [cockroaches]
