- Description
- Requesting traffic engineering review and signage installation at the bottom of Irving Street in Boston. Large trucks and through traffic are entering the street overnight continuously, often throughout the entire night and especially 2-5 AM. The trucks come up the hill and then cannot safely make the turn at the top / around the corner, causing repeated idling, backing up, engine noise, air brakes, and maneuvering in a residential area. This occurs nightly and significantly disrupts residents’ sleep. Please evaluate for: - NO THRU TRUCKS signage - NO LARGE TRUCKS signage - DEAD END / NO TURNAROUND signage - truck route / GPS routing correction This appears to be a recurring road design and wayfinding issue. I have lived here for three years and the problem increasingly worsens
