Description: I am requesting a housing/sanitary code inspection for ongoing water damage and unsafe conditions in my apartment. This issue has been ongoing since February 21, 2026, and has not been fully resolved. There has been prolonged water intrusion from the ceiling resulting in visible staining, ceiling deterioration, and debris falling into the kitchen area. There is now visible mold-like growth in the area of the prior leak. The kitchen surfaces, including countertops and areas used for food preparation, have persistent yellow/brown staining that cannot be fully cleaned despite repeated attempts. Due to these conditions, I have been unable to safely use the kitchen and have not been able to consistently occupy the apartment. I am also concerned about potential health risks related to mold and ongoing moisture exposure. There was also a recent electrical issue affecting the kitchen, including loss of power to the refrigerator, resulting in food spoilage. I am requesting an inspection to evaluate these conditions and determine compliance with housing and sanitary codes.
