- I am a tenant at 66 Queensberry st, Boston, MA, APT #220. I am a young woman living alone in this unit with no alternative place to stay. I am writing to report severely unsafe living conditions that are causing me significant distress and fear for my personal safety every day and night. The damage includes: Multiple holes in the bedroom ceiling, including directly above my bed One or more holes in the main living/common area ceiling Ceiling damage in the kitchen Ceiling damage in the bathroom Cracks throughout the ceilings of multiple rooms in the unit I heard sounds of drilling in the middle of the night. I have photographic and video evidence of all damage. I also experienced a significant pest/bug infestation in this unit several weeks ago. I am a paying tenant who has consistently paid rent for this unit. I first reported these conditions to my property management company in late February and received absolutely no response or acknowledgment in over 30 days. I followed up again by phone earlier today. I have documentation of these prior communications. My landlord has been aware of this situation for over a month and has taken no action. I have nowhere else to go. I am sleeping under holes in my ceiling every night and I do not feel safe in my own home. This is not an acceptable living condition and I am requesting an urgent inspection immediately.
