- I would like to request the planting of a new street tree along the sidewalk in front of my home at 1 Marlin Rd, West Roxbury. This location previously had a street tree, which was removed during construction by the developer. I recently purchased the home and would very much like to restore the original tree at this location. Additionally, nearly every home along this street has a street tree in front, and this is currently the only property without one. Restoring a tree here would help maintain the continuity and character of the streetscape. There appears to be adequate space along the sidewalk, and we strongly support increasing tree canopy in the neighborhood. We would also be happy to help care for the tree after planting. We would greatly appreciate an evaluation of the site and consideration for planting.
