- It is appalling that the City of Boston did not include the Jackson Mann within the budget for 2027- 2031. The city has been neglecting Allston and Brighton for several years now. This school was closed many years ago and is now a shell of what it used to be, just rotting away. Does this neighborhood not matter to the city anymore? While wasting tax payer dollars on projects like White Stadium, where you are allowing alcohol to be sold on school property mind you, you should be focused on supporting this community as well.
