Illegal Parking

Description: Construction workers are repeatedly parking in the fire lane in front of access gates to I95. The access is used for emergencies and MDOT for maintenance. Which isn’t often but irritating that people are knowingly using the space as parking for their day’s construction work at 5 Putnam, Charlestown. Many people pull a car into the space for a temporary period of time (15-20 minutes) while they are near the area but never for extended periods. Often the car owner isn’t available to move their vehicle or even on site if there is need to move. I hope this can be enforced during the duration of the contractors work. Ironically the site has an unusually large area (for a city home) that the vehicles can be contained within the property.
