- Hello. We live at 100 A street in Boston and the new road work has left these manhole/utility covers loose. This is a very busy street and every times car and truck goes over them they make tremendous metallic noise. We work from home and also our bedrooms are right in front of these where I took the attached photos from. The noise is very disruptive. We’ve been up all night with USPS postal trucks driving over these all night. Would really appreciate if these could be fixed and aligned so that they don’t make noise every time a car and truck goes over them? All 4 of these are loose and not aligned to the road.
