- There is a huge depression/sink hole (?) In front of 198 Mt Vernon St in West Roxbury (corner Mt Vernon & Grayfield). It measures 4 feet wide, 15 feet long, and about 6-8 inches deep at its deepest point. It seems to be quickly getting larger and deeper. This is not a normal pothole and seems to be a dangerous situation where cars could soon bottom out.
