- Nine company vehicles have been parked on Independence Drive (Boston side, not Brookline) since July 2025. Transafe is a large transportation company, and these vans are occupying parking that should be available to area residents. Is there anyone who can assist in having these vehicles removed immediately from the street? Residents of Hancock Village, along with medical staff, patients, and visitors, rely on this limited parking. It is unreasonable for a company to occupy the majority of street parking with 9+ commercial vans. I previously contacted the owner, who stated that the vehicles would be relocated in the fall of last year; however, that has not occurred.
