Case Noted. Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention. BTD has investigated and there is an existing stop sign with a restriction before the stop sign which helps for the signs to be clearly visual on Medford St and Main St. If vehicles are still disregarding the stop sign or speeding through this intersection. Please contact Boston Police Department for further resolution. However, to help with more awareness of crosswalk on Bunker Hill St we will add a pedestrian warning sign in advance. Constituent wanted to report constant speeding on Medford St in Charlestown, with cars fully speeding through crosswalks while people are crossing. Constituent wanted this reported so that additional signage or other useful engineering could be done to make it safer for pedestrians. |
