Case Noted. We share your concerns about making the City’s streets safer. Everyone should have a safe street where they feel comfortable and free from concerns of speeding cars. We are working to bring speed humps to our neighborhood streets, and it will take time to get this work done. Our program is being updated to better match the needs of the community. Reaching out to your neighborhood's ONS liaison is a great way to make your feedback heard as part of this process. We will continue to work to slow traffic and offer safety interventions across the City of Boston. Flight House Charlestown is going to be opening at 465 Medford St, directly across for residents that live in Medford St. we are concerned about the traffic pattern changing all of our lives. We have dogs, and lots of people walking and crossing the street where there is an entrance in two different gates there. There will be an influx of traffic, people driving faster if “late” to a class, more issues with the traffic pattern which is already a concern with the speeding cars and trucks that still happens every day. There was supposed to be something done to prevent the speeding in general, but still cars do not obey the speed limits or even if in the cross walk people don’t stop. Now people in the neighborhood, including our family are concerned about how this will change everything about our normal living experience over in this area. Is there any discussion about this anywhere if this process?
