- I live at 16-18 Hewlett St. This sign was posted on Friday 4/24, with the start date of this parking ban on 4/29. Less than one week is not enough time to know when to move a vehicle. What happens if folks are out of town and wouldn’t know if road work were to be done? I understand it’s only obligatory to give notice 48 hours prior to the ban, and this is more than that, but I still argue that’s not enough notice.
