- Hello, On January 22, 2026 I walked on Centre Street -- just before Dunkin Donuts. A man in front of me walked his dog - he and his dog stopped quickly. To avoid walking into him I walked around him to the right. In the process I stepped on the upper left side of a sharp side of concrete - next to a dirt square with scrub. I'm hoping the City can even that connection between concrete and dirt patch. I went to the ER at BIDMC the next day - where a doctor diagnosed Jones Fracture. Jan. 30 I had corrective surgery there. I'm still in boot and crutches -- bad fracture. Attached please find pictures of the 1) address 763 Centre St - Vee Vee Restaurant 2) the dirt patch -concrete where I sustained the injury. Thanks.
