Description
This construction site is a disaster and the project is displaying a dumpster permit that has expired and claiming it is a street occupancy permit to park any vehicles in a no-stop and no-stand zone which blocks out driveway and loading dock at 15 N Beacon Street as well makes it impossible to enter and exit the Clevemont Street parking lot safely. This also poses a problem for FIRE trucks to properly access the building. Please deny future requests for 13 Clevemont Avenue and issue the permits instead for #11 or lower number on Clevemont Avenue. Our garbage company and the city garbage trucks are refusing to pick up our garbage that they access via the loading dock abutting this no-stop and no stand tow zone. We have reported the violations to BTD and they said to call the 911 phone number to enforce the parking which is not allowed by the expired permit or the permit when it was valid. we spoke to th police and Brighton policy officer H Marialy badge #1062 said he would not ticket or tow the vehicles because he believed an expired dumpster permit gave them a right to park their vehicles there in front of 13 Clevemont Avenue. I am the board of trustees liaison for the 15 North Beacon Street association and would like to find an amicable solution. We spoke to the project manager Josh Fetterman and the workers for the various companies that park there, but our trash contractor and the city trucks just drive past when they see the vehicles parked in that zone.
