- With ongoing construction on West 5th Street in South Boston and multiple properties leaving loose trash unsecured, I’ve noticed a significant increase in rat activity. Rats are visible in my backyard and on sidewalks at all hours. This appears to be an active infestation likely related to construction disturbance and improper waste storage. Requesting inspection and mitigation.
