Description: I contacted the city regarding a Request for Pothole Repair, which I reported on 3/13/2026 10:10 PM, located at Intersection of Beacon St and Chestnut Hill Ave, Brighton, MA. It’s case 101006568938 You replied that Public Works Department has closed this case for the following reason: This is under the jurisdiction of the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority. I contact the MBTA both by email and phone. They have told me it’s under justification of Boston, NOT the MBTA. I can gladly meet with the appropriate staff for the Public Works Department to show them this dangerous condition. I am also offering to personally pay 25% of the cost of repairing these dangerous potholes at this specific location. It is very important that the street be repaired and I want to encourage the City to do it.
