- Att: Mass Dept of Environmental Protection: Raising concern regarding ongoing trash transport and sanitation conditions at the Back Bay Clarendon St station trashroom and bus loop driveway Almost every evening around 11:00 PM, an open ABM vehicle is observed transporting black garbage bags through the station driveway area. Liquids appear to drip or leak from the vehicle during transport, and attached photographs show dark staining (slime) and unsanitary conditions on the driveway surface. Boston Properties, responsible for station trash and maintenance operations, has previously received citations related to overflowing dumpsters, rodent activity, and sanitation concerns. A review of current waste handling and transportation practices is respectfully requested to help ensure appropriate sanitation, environmental, and public safety standards are being maintained.
