Illegal Parking

Description: Multiple vehicles are being brought and parked on Gilmer Street for days at a time to be worked on by a street mechanic. The person working on these cars drives a green Kia soul with a MA vehicle registration number 5PZP63. This person is coordinating with people to bring cars from other areas over to Gilmer Street and occupying parking with cars that in some cases have expired registrations and inspection stickers and are found on car jacks and the engine hood open at all times of the day. This street mechanic has caused loitering of people near private property. Car parts, car fluids have been found all over the street due to this activity. There has also been an increase of personal trash all over the street left by the loitering groups. This activity is not only hazardous, it’s also taking up street parking from the residents that live on the street. It’s causing noise disturbance since automotive repair work is not allowed on public streets. Today’s activity was in front of 4 Gilmer Street at approximately 10AM and in front of 17 Gilmer Street at approximately 6:30PM today Sunday 5/10/26.
