Description: Subject: Formal Complaint – Illegal Parking and Abuse of Public Spaces by State Police Vehicles at 1 Ashburton Place, Boston, MA Dear Officials, I am writing to formally bring to your attention a persistent and deeply troubling pattern of illegal parking by Massachusetts State Police cruisers in and around 1 Ashburton Place, Boston, MA 02108, the home to several important state agencies, including the Office of the Secretary of State. As a member of the public who relies on access to these government offices, I have personally observed — and documented — state police cruisers routinely: 1- Parking in designated handicap zones, in direct violation of ADA accessibility requirements and Massachusetts General Law 2- Occupying fire lanes, creating a public safety hazard 3- Blocking traffic flow on public streets 4- Taking up all available public parking spaces for extended periods, effectively denying private citizens lawful access to government services 5- Parking directly in front of the Secretary of State's office all day, despite clear "No Public Parking" signage
