Description: Reference ticket #101006483553 and 101006411803: I’m following up because the Cummins Highway project is nearing completion, and the redesign of Favre Street has created serious issues for residents. Cars park all the way to the end of the street, making it extremely difficult to pull out onto Cummins Highway. I’ve already seen larger vehicles forced to back down the street to exit. Many of the surrounding two‑way streets are also impacted, making it extremely dangerous when one vehicle is trying to pull onto the street crossing Cummins Highway and another car pulls up quickly to exit. The narrowing at the ends of these streets has created a hazardous situation for drivers and pedestrians. When the multiple stop signs were in place along Cummins Highway, it was noticeably safer, and many of my neighbors have said the same. This is something the city should consider implementing again. I am requesting a full review of this intersection and the surrounding streets, along with parking restrictions and other safety measures (such as stop signs), to ensure vehicles can safely enter and exit.
