- Obstructed Bus stop signage opposite 1199 Dorchester Avenue northbound at the corner of Dewar Street. Bus stop sign was placed on inside of sidewalk against a tall chain linked fence on private property facing the sidewalk not the street, not curbside where it would be visible. Also there is a street light just before that bus stop sign with a street cleaning sign that completely obscures the bus stop sign from the street and also from the drivers side of vehicles parking curbside. There is another bus stop sign way before at Burger King but the distance between with a double driveway parking lot in between leaves the appearance that this is legal parking. There are NO ground markings showing this large area as a designated bus stop. In 2022 Boston started using ground markings for just this type of situation. Usually for bus stops this large at approximately 100 feet with a public/private parking in between ground markings would/should be used. Especially with such a large development like Dot Block directly across the street.
