Per BPS: We are actively monitoring temperatures across our school buildings today and tomorrow. Given the early-season heat, seasonal HVAC system changeovers have been significantly expedited ahead of the normal schedule as buildings shift from cold-weather to warm-weather operations. Our facilities teams are working to bring air conditioning systems online where available and are coordinating closely with schools to respond to any issues that arise. In the meantime, we are making sure schools have fans and air purifiers available in classrooms and shared spaces. All schools have drinking water available and we encourage students and staff to stay hydrated throughout the day. As always, the health and safety of our students and staff is our top priority. We will continue to monitor classroom conditions and make adjustments as needed.

Description
There are no ACs or fans in the classrooms of John D. O’Bryant School of Mathematics and Science; and some rooms get higher than 91 degrees! The ACs are not working; it feels hotter inside than outside. This problem is distracting the students' ability to concentrate during their school lessons as well as in their MCAS state testing. PLEASE HELP
