Noted. Good afternoon There is no violation to be issued at this time At this time, the City’s residential mattress collection program is limited to properties with six (6) units or fewer. Buildings with more than six units are considered commercial or large multi-unit properties and are not eligible for the City’s curbside mattress collection service. In these situations, property owners, management companies, or residents must arrange for private recycling or disposal services. Please note that under Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection (MassDEP) regulations, mattresses are banned from disposal in the regular trash stream and must be recycled through an approved program or vendor.
