- I am reporting a missed trash pickup on Wayne Street in Dorchester. I contacted 311 yesterday and was advised that a crew would return today to address the missed pickup; however, no collection has occurred. There is now trash outside my home blowing throughout the street, and there is also an overflowing dumpster at the top of the street near the apartment buildings that remains fully exposed. The amount of trash accumulating is creating an unsanitary and unacceptable condition for residents. In addition, there is an ongoing rat problem on the street that does not appear to be adequately addressed. The accumulation of trash and overflowing dumpsters is only making the rodent issue worse and creating a public health concern for the neighborhood. Please have a crew dispatched as soon as possible to collect the missed trash, address the overflowing dumpster situation, and investigate the ongoing rodent activity. Thank you.
