- My car is registered and insured for commercial use, with plates and inditia on both sides. Every week, on the block of Friend Street at Causeway Street, Hotel Indigo valet parkers regularly use the 2-3 commercial spaces for valet parking, leaving no spaces for commercial vehicles. They place barrels, cones and large freestanding “Valet” signs alongside the commercial spaces (as shown). When I park in an open valet space (because they parked cars in the commercial spaces) they threaten to tow me, and they refuse to relocate the cars in the commercial spots that they readily acknowledge they are responsible for. The conflict is out of control. They believe they own the block, and make threats to tow commercial vehicles in their valet spaces.
