Broken Sidewalk

Description: I am a resident at 14 Soley St, Charlestown, MA. There is a city street tree growing on the sidewalk in front of my property whose roots are causing significant uplift to both the public sidewalk and my driveway apron (the section of sidewalk crossing into my driveway). The raised concrete has created: • A tripping hazard on the public sidewalk • Damage to the driveway apron, making it difficult to safely access my driveway I am requesting that the Public Works Department and Urban Forestry Division coordinate to inspect and repair the raised sidewalk/driveway apron, and assess the tree roots causing the damage. Please advise on next steps and timeline. I have photos available upon request.
