Description: Request for the city to take ownership of Denvir street so it can be properly maintained. It's a very short street that connects 2 city streets, and is the only access for multiple homes that cannot otherwise access Shepton street, or Edwin street. Denvir street is in very poor condition, as evidenced by several 311 pothole complaints over the course of many years. The street is currently listed as a "private way", but the city already seems to take responsibility for it for plowing, utilities work, and directing traffic during the recent Dorchester Day parade. As this appears to have been a multi-decade issue, it would be best if the city could properly maintain the short road for the safety of residents, and city workers who use it daily.
