- Description
- In north dorchester E-bikes constantly driving on sidewalks, esp dorchester ave (which has dedicated bike lanes! That no one uses!). I’ve been hit twice, and my dog once. Ebike riders don’t slow down or stop when they see people, infants, and dogs. And when you say anything to the perpetrators, they don’t care because they say that they know “you guys (city govt/police) don’t do anything about it and don’t care.” They do it because they know you’re not gonna do anything about it So you create bike lanes, no one uses them, and then don’t care that those riders are putting resudehts health and safety at risk. Have you thought about posting signs all through areas where you know this is happening? Or do you just not care? You created safety lanes specifically for bikes, yet no one in Dorchester uses them, because they know the city doesn’t care how many people are hit by these vehicles while doing nothing other than walking on a sidewalk. When will you start caring, after a baby is killed? It’s interesting that all of a sudden you stopped caring about actual pedestrians. | Case (SR) Type: [BPD: Quality of Life] Referred To: [POLICE: AREA C-11]
