Description: Hello, my wife and I arrived in Boston on May 1st, 2026 for our doctoral research. We booked and paid for a 20-day stay at an Airbnb address. However, there are significant differences between the apartment photos on the Airbnb website and the actual apartment we saw. There was rat poison in four different places inside this basement apartment. We were victimized because Airbnb did not provide this information. The apartment did not receive the same amount of light as in the photos. There was a ladder behind the window, so the window couldn't even be opened. We paid approximately $5,000 for 20 days. We decided to find another place to stay and leave within two days. However, they did not refund 50% of the money. They left us in a difficult situation. I kindly request that you inspect this apartment. I believe that such a place is unsuitable for accommodation from a health perspective. We would appreciate your help in resolving our grievance.
