Parking Meter Repairs

Description: I parked at meter KC003 today On Newbury Street extension and was unable to pay because the meter was broken and the screen is blank. It would not accept my credit card. I parked there and went to Volunteer where I helped at our lady's guild house and when I returned to my car, a ticket had been issued - #838337651. I reported the meter to 311 just now and I will send in a dispute again for this same situation. It is so frustrating because the last time I tried to dispute this I lost and had to pay the ticket. This time I will go to traffic court if I have to. How come the Meter person did not check to see that the meter was not working before giving me a ticket? Can you please fix this meter?
