- Please come and see the unsafe and disorganized conditions caused by the Chase Bank construction on Francis Street. There is a clear lack of organization and traffic control. The construction is occupying pedestrian walkways and resident parking areas, apparently without the proper permits or authorization. There is also no police officer or traffic detail managing traffic on this very busy street. This roadway is used constantly by ambulances, emergency vehicles, school transportation, and local traffic. The construction has created severe congestion, making it difficult for emergency vehicles to travel safely and quickly. This is an ongoing problem that affects the community every day. Residents, including people using wheelchairs, walkers, and families with strollers, are often forced to walk in the street because the sidewalks are blocked. The City must take immediate action to ensure the contractor complies with all permit requirements, provides proper traffic control, keeps pedestrian access safe, and does not continue disrupting resident parking and emergency vehicle access. Public safety should be the top priority.
