- Subject: Dangerous Property, Structural Collapse, Overgrown Vegetation, and Hazardous Trees – 23 Galty Ave., Dorchester MA Complaint: I am reporting 23 Galty Ave. in Dorchester, which has been severely neglected for years and now poses serious safety hazards to neighboring homes and the public. The property is in violation of multiple sections of the Massachusetts State Sanitary Code (105 CMR 410) and the City of Boston Property Maintenance Code, including: • Failure to maintain structures in safe condition (roof collapse, open holes allowing wildlife entry) • Failure to maintain yard and vegetation (overgrown weeds, uncontrolled growth, collapsing gazebo) • Dangerous trees and falling branches creating a public safety hazard • Failure to secure property from animals, pests, and weather • Failure to maintain exterior surfaces and prevent deterioration Specific Issues: 1. Large trees on the property are rotting and unstable. A major branch recently broke off and fell into my yard, damaging my fence and landing on my trees. The branch was extremely large and heavy — too big for me <truncated>
