- Every weekday and sometimes on the weekend, I use the bike path and bike lanes near Mattapan. And EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. The bike lane when you turn right on River street, to get to the Neponset Trail… There’s a dumpster-style trash bin BLOCKING the road. Every day! Except Monday, which must be trash day, because then there are at least 2, sometimes 3 trash bins blocking the way. It’s dangerous….i ride with my daughter to school. I have seen this daily for months.
