- The Water and Sewer Commission van with license plate M-5843 was parked illegally in the eastbound bike lane directly in front of 230 Western Ave. this morning (Thursday, June 25) at approximately 10:35 a.m. There was at least one person in the van, and the driver's door window was mostly down, as I was preparing to turn down South Campus Drive. Unfortunately, I didn't get a good look at the driver or a photo of the situation. I expect uninformed public drivers to block bike lanes, but a City of Boston employee should know better.
