- The green space on E Fourth Street, where construction has been ongoing, has unfortunately been overlooked for quite some time and has become very overgrown, as many residents have noted in the comments. My children and I walked by today and saw multiple rats in broad daylight, and we’ve also seen them in our back driveway recently, which is adjacent to this area. It’s becoming a real concern for those of us who live nearby. I’d really appreciate it if the City could address this. Residents shouldn’t have to deal with the impacts of ongoing construction in addition to a lack of basic maintenance. Keeping the area clean and maintained would make a meaningful difference for the neighborhood.
