- Adding more to 10100671284 Ticket - This trailer has a long history of this: Article IV, Section 7 says that a trailer, semi-trailer, boat trailer, camping trailer, or utility trailer may not be parked or stood on a City street unless it is attached to a motor vehicle capable of towing it. Because of the trailer’s height and size, it creates a blind spot for pedestrians crossing Welles Ave and for vehicles on Talbot Ave turning right. Pedestrians are often met with turning or speeding vehicles before they can clearly see around the trailer. Because the trailer sits directly in front of Alex Market, it takes away a practical short-term in-and-out parking space that customers could otherwise use for the business. I am requesting that Boston Transportation / Parking Enforcement inspect this location, determine whether the trailer is in violation of Boston’s trailer parking and 72-hour street storage rules, and take appropriate enforcement action, including ticketing or removal if warranted. I am attaching a photo showing the trailer’s location and proximity to the intersection/crosswalk.
